The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Jose Garcia and Town Planning, Felix Garcia, now have handed the prizes to the three winning this competition for the construction of a new bus station in the municipality
The mayor today presented the awards and the competition of ideas for the new bus station, in which the project "Stop Search", directed by Ana Maria Martinez and Ana Maria is part Bernal, has won the first prize.
This award is endowed with 70,000 euros in fees, of which € 17,000 has been delivered, and the rest will be given after delivery of the drafting of the project.
The "Encañizada 2" Leticia Uribe-Echevarría, José David Ros and Leticia Garcia has won the second prize, worth 3,000 euros, while "La Puerta de San Pedro", directed by Ruben Solis and have formed part Ismael Domínguez, Antonio José Lara and Antonio Trillo, has received the third prize of 1,500 euros.
The special, without financial support, have been for projects "Clubs Clover", "NaCl" and "Mill sun."
The mayor, José García Ruiz, has highlighted the quality of the winning projects and noted that the municipality "will very soon have a wider bus, better equipped and better service for residents and visitors to San Pedro.
For its part, the Town Planning explained that the City has chosen to build a new station in order to improve public transport in the municipality, given the deterioration of the current season and its small space.
Therefore, the new station will allow the simultaneous shutdown of six buses, with possible extension to 12; box office ticket sales and administration offices and passenger service.
The draft also provides that the station has a Tourist Information office, other security, enabled the local police, and a café, taxi stand and parking for buses, cars and bicycles, among other services.
The new infrastructure will be located in the municipal lot located between Calle Mayor José María Tárraga, Móstoles, Paul Gaugin and Painter Artist Claudio Coello, which is currently partially occupied by the old bus station.
The jury praised the 25 projects submitted and missed the awards last December, was chaired by Councillor Recruitment, Jose Lorenzo Martinez and composed by Carmen Garcia, of the Directorate General of Land and Housing; Antonio Escarbajal, Technical Architect municipal, Juan José Egea, municipal industrial engineer, Paul Gomez, architect of the Directorate General of Land and Housing, and Juan Antonio Santa Cruz, the official college of architects of Murcia.
