The new administration of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar will feature new areas such as Training and Employment and Volunteering
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martínez, has today announced the allocation of powers of the council members that make up the municipal government team for the term 2011-2015.
After taking office, on Saturday 11 June, the new government team set and competencies of the different councils.
The mayor explained that this structure ensures a strong team to face the economic situation of the City, working for job creation and improve living conditions of residents of San Pedro del Pinatar.
In this new organization, creating new areas such as Training and Employment and Volunteering.
The first of these will be linked to tourism, with the aim of promoting the main engine of the local economy and create quality jobs.
Thus, the delegation of powers of the council is as follows:
Antonio García Zapata: Tourism and Employment and Training
Fermín Martínez García: Environment, Health and Infrastructure
José Fernández Andreo: Finance and Personnel
María Guadalupe García Oliver: Education, Women and Equality
Jeronimo Moya: Police, Traffic, Public Safety, Community Services, Parks & Gardens.
Cabrera Angela Gaona: Recruitment and Heritage, Planning and Development, Internal Affairs, Youth, Media and Relations with other governments.
José Guillermo García: Trade, Industry, Transport, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Markets and Fairs.
Silvia Egea: Culture, Citizenship and Celebrations.
Luis Vera Pedro: Sports and Civil Protection.
Álvaro Tárraga: New Technologies, statistics, Cemetery and Volunteer.
Francisca Pelegrín: Social Policy and Consumer Affairs
