The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez has presided over the ceremony of inauguration of the new village headman and eight neighborhood that, during this term, will represent the City in their respective villages
A total of eight village headman and neighborhoods have today taken up his post in the hall of the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, stressed the important role that the village headman as they are the tool that the City can reach all citizens.
In this regard, he highlighted that the current government team aims to make this term is based on citizen services and leave no neighbor without being attended to, work in the new village headman have a great responsibility as the maximum authorities in their neighborhoods.
Thus, thanked the disposition of the new village headman and underlined have been chosen on the basis of respect for neighbors and the knowledge that they all have areas where they live.

While Antonio García Martínez, has been appointed village headman of Nuevo San Pedro neighborhood, Jose Francisco Gomez, Los Saez and the devout, and Ana Maria Sanchez, Los Antolinos, Los Tárraga, Loma de Arriba and Las Pacheco.
The functions of the village headman and neighborhood during this term will be representing your area, the president of the Neighborhood, assemblies or meetings held, the monitoring of municipal works and services, inform neighbors about the rules agreements, and municipal actions affecting them, to channel the aspirations of the residents on the City Council and those matters delegated to it by the mayor.
