This project, funded by the Ministry for Social Policy, takes place in a dozen municipalities in the region and aims at detecting risk situations of exclusion and support for people with reduced integration and the creation of itineraries social inclusion and employment.
The Department of Social Policy has launched this month Accompaniment Program for Social Inclusion, aimed at caring for people and social groups or at risk of exclusion from social services in primary care.
This program, funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy of the Community of Murcia, has been implemented in 22 municipalities in the region since its launch in 2004.
The councilman of Social Policy, Francisca Pelegrin, stressed the need to develop such programs in the current crisis, in which every time "we have more demand for assistance and families go through very complex situations."
It has also indicated that it is a service that provides a comprehensive long-term care, because "not only seeks to alleviate a specific need, but offer training tools, support and guidance in job search, and actions that promote participation in society for total integration. "
The new service is the creation of pathways to integration tailored to people in situations of exclusion, so that the affected works in conjunction with my Social Services to coordinate a series of actions aimed at integration and tailored to your specific situation .
From these routes are intended to facilitate both social and work integration of the beneficiaries of the program, promoting actions that allow their participation in society and providing social education, educational, professional and occupational.
In addition to the professional responsible for monitoring cases, the project is coordinated with other programs and safety nets, social services are there in the municipality, in order to optimize resources for the benefit of the people attached to the project.
