The Councillor for Equality of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar, Guadalupe García, today presented the program "Between Us" which will focus on conveying practical knowledge about consumption, employment, health and wellness, among others.
The Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, through the Department of Equality, has launched the program of lectures and discussions "between us", to be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at the center of social services and Equal .
The Councillor for Equality, Guadalupe García, today announced the schedule for the quarter beginning on October 19 with a workshop on how to give in tough times, which will give the participants tools to improve their domestic economy.
The mayor explained that this program will seek to promote the active role of women in areas such as employment, education, health and welfare, social participation, culture and sport.
Furthermore, it indicated that these areas will recur in different quarters, but will change the subject of the talk, with the aim of having a broader educational component.
Thus, the program will continue on October 26 with a talk on job search and Nov. 2 will give a class a physical therapist massage practice among participants.
On November 9, two pediatricians Health Center will discuss the most common child care, while the November 16 local police will offer a workshop on defense and on 30 November, members of Civil Protection teach first aid techniques.
Regarding the November 23, coinciding with the week that marks the International Day Against Abuse (November 25), the program "Between Us" will include an activity on self-esteem and social skills, under the title "I am the protagonist of my life. "
To close the quarter, the December 14 the council has scheduled a more playful activity called "This Christmas Triumph" and will include a practical class of image, by professional beauty center and hair colors, and another on how put a good meal, provided by an etiquette expert.
In parallel to this schedule, Equality has introduced "Walking Together", an activity coordinated by a sports instructor and includes several walking tours of different areas of the municipality.
Garcia noted that this activity will also weekly and routes are designed with a low technical difficulty, ranging from 4 to 7 miles away.
In conclusion, the council has stressed that all technical activities are performed by Hall and colleagues, which pose no cost to city coffers and thanked the willingness and dedication of all of them contribute to the development of this program.
