The aldermen of Tourism, Antonio Garcia and Commerce Jose Guillermo Garcia, met yesterday with representatives of financial institutions operating in the municipality to address tourism projects and the financing of small and medium enterprises
The Government Team of the City of San Javier held a meeting yesterday with representatives of financial institutions operating in the municipality to address economic development lines of the municipality.
During the meeting, the aldermen informed of the projects being developed in different areas of local government, as well as priority business lines that the City Council want to promote.
In this regard, the Councillor for Tourism, Employment and Training, Antonio Garcia, said the five major tourist lines to develop, such as the language tourism, health, senior, marine and sports.
The mayor explained the advantages and the tourism potential of the municipality and urged those responsible for financial institutions to participate actively with the City Council in the development of the sector to encourage the industry to face new challenges and opportunities.
Meanwhile, the Councillor of Commerce, Jose Guillermo Garcia, emphasized the central role of the financial sector in supporting small and medium-sized San Javier are going through a very complex situation.
The directors of the various financial institutions appreciated the initiative of the City to share with their work patterns to follow and showed their willingness to cooperate in all that they can be participants.
