Cyclists Luis Leon Sanchez and Jose Joaquin Rojas wanted to accompany the 128 participants in the eleventh edition of this street race, which was won by the rider Jose Antonio Morote ciezano.
A total of 128 cyclists participated in the race today XI Memorial Chaplain, organized by the club cyclist San Javier, in collaboration with the City of San Javier.
The race started around 10:30 and had the presence of cyclists Jose Joaquin Rojas Murcia, Spain Champion Road, and Luis Leon Sanchez of Spain Contrarrejoj Champion, who participated, without dorsal, in the career.
The memorial "The Chaplain" has been in a city tour that passed through the center of town, the N-322, up to the City Air (San Javier), Lo Pagan and the road to Las Salinas.
Minutes after 12:00 pm, Jose Antonio Morote ciezano, crossed the finish line, followed by Boris Rocamora (Sax) and Pedro José Antolinos (Torre Pacheco).
The good weather has encouraged dozens of runners cyclists numerous clubs in the region, such as Torre Pacheco or Cieza, in addition to those from several municipalities in the Vega Baja in Alicante.
The day ended with the rider awards, run by the mayor of the municipality, Visitation Martinez and Council of Sports, Pedro Luis Vera, Police, Jerome Moya, and Social Policy, Francisca Pelegrin, accompanied by the widow of "The Chaplain, "club member who died 10 years ago and who was honored in this race.
The prizes for the three winners were three hams, and also distributed to the 40 finishers, steaks (4 to 15), sausages (16 to 30) and bottles of wine (31 to 45).
