Councilman UPyD in San Javier, José Luis Ros Medina, called the announcement by the mayor to close the school workshop Quentin Mill as "bad news for the training of youth in the municipality."
For José Luis Ros, the council should have sought funding to keep the school workshop, which has trained nearly 30 local youths in various trades.
"The council should have demanded the continuity of government school workshop or sought alternative financing solutions." "School workshop involved a career for many young people and the town also benefited from it" said.
"The school and workshop should be maintained in times of crisis in which training is essential."
