The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez and Council Members Training and Employment, Antonio Garcia, and Education and Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, presented the diplomas of courses in the municipality through the Training and Employment Service (SEF ) in the region.
Over eighty students have made the seven courses that the Employment and Training Service of the Region has taught at San Javier in 2011, organized by the Department of Youth Development, Gender and Employment and Training.
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martínez, stressed the importance of training to enter the workforce and to improve and advance in any job.
Therefore, encouraged attendees to continue their education to be "the best prepared" when the economic situation improves, acquiring new knowledge that can be applied in sectors such as hospitality, trade, health care or attention to the dependence between other.
Meanwhile, the Councillor for Education and Employment, Antonio Garcia, highlighted the work of the SEF, which has financed these courses with the European Social Fund and highlighted the wide range of courses that were taught in the township during the past year.
It also noted that since the Employment and Training Department is already working to San Javier in 2012 return to receive training for employment.
Among the training offer developed in 2011 by UGT, have taught courses in operating system, information retrieval, internet, intranet and e-mail I Office automation (word, excel and writer), office applications and first aid.
These courses, offered at the Youth House for groups of 12 students are part of the vocational training system aimed at employed workers, and now have a share of 40 percent for unemployed workers.
On the other hand, have taught courses for the unemployed entirely among which includes home care and assistance to the elderly, which has included placements in nursing homes Lozar, Messengers of Peace and Villademar, as well as English to the public.
The offer is completed with a course of foreign trade, given by the President of the Association of Foreign Trade Consultants in Spain (ACOCEX), Miguel Angel Martin, through her academy d Murcia Center.
