The sixth grade students from schools in San Javier have known how to make the collection of waste through this educational campaign organized by the Department of Environment
The Department of Environment has developed during the month of January a year teaching in different schools in San Pedro del Pinatar to raise awareness among children about the importance of recycling.
Thus, the mobile eco-park has been moved to different schools and sixth grade students have seen and know the process of collection and sorting of waste made by this vehicle.
The mobile eco-park is a truck adapted for selective waste collection with embedded different types of containers for non-bulky waste has no place in traditional containers such as small appliances, fluorescent lights, electronic waste, wood, metals, traces of painting, etc..
The visits have been conducted on groups of 25 to 30 children for 20 minutes.
In this campaign have participated Primary Schools Villa Alegria, Castellar College, Los Pinos and San Pedro Apostle.
