The Councillor for Education, Women and Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, yesterday inaugurated the First Meeting of Women Entrepreneurs of the township, organized in collaboration with the Organization of Business and Professional Women of the Region (OMEP)
The Center for Women and Social Services of San Javier last night hosted the First Conference of Women Entrepreneurs of the municipality, which was attended by more than 35 entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the locality.
The table of these first days was addressed by the council of Women and Equality, Guadalupe Garcia and Pilar Valdes papers associated OMEP, and Maria Jose Jose Candel, BASE consulting partner, OMEP partner and expert in new technologies .
The councilor said the objective of this conference is to answer the demand of unemployed women looking for business ideas and opportunities for self-employment, to entrepreneurs who want to develop a project and reduce the risk of their implementation, as well as groups women who manage social projects and seek to improve their viability, and entrepreneurs who run micro and want to expand to other markets.
In addition, emphasized the need to promote entrepreneurship and training as well as provide the tools and guidelines necessary to turn an idea into a profitable business.
Meanwhile, Pilar Valdes told the audience that OMEP groups in the region to 300 professionals and entrepreneurs from all economic and social.
He also noted that this organization is to promote entrepreneurship, training, employment, access to new information technologies and communication, contributing to equality between women and men in business and organizational areas.
Maria Jose Candel closed the conference with a presentation on new technologies applied to business and discussed ways to optimize economic resources when implementing them.
Thus, information, planning, media, resources and market projection, were the key issues in the First Conference of Women Entrepreneurs in San Javier.
