The Cartagena Javier Pedrero yesterday presented his first novel at the Club Nautico de Lo Pagan, in the framework of the activities of the first edition of the Sea World Exhbition.
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez and Vice President of Club Nautico de Lo Pagan, Solomon Rivera, accompanied the author, Javier Pedrero, in presenting his first novel.
"The secret of the Mar Menor" starts in the 70's in Cartagena, with a tragic incident involving four children, and then takes us to a love story that is within the city of Rome in 2003, here comes a mystery, the necessary search for a secret that we put back in the Murcia coast and more specifically in the municipalities of the Mar Menor.
The author explained that this story comes during his long walks along the Mar Menor and highlighted how the characters grew and became entangled in the plot as the story evolved.
Pedrero said one of the objectives of this book is to vindicate the Mar Menor as a natural paradise and one of the salt water spas in the world.
Meanwhile, the mayor praised the courage of Pedrero to embark on a project like this, noting that the novel involves the reader and offers a different view of the Mar Menor, full of mystery and seduction.
In this regard, said recommend reading "The Secret of the Mar Menor" is the best promotion that can be done in the lagoon.
This presentation is part of the cultural and educational activities of the First Sea World Exhibition, which includes a series of talks and lectures at the Club Nautico de Lo Pagan.
Club vice-president also thanked the author's presence in these facilities referred to by the novel and showed the willingness of the agency to hold any activity that serves for the dissemination and promotion of the Mar Menor.
