The only item on the agenda of the municipal council of San Javier, held on Monday April 9, was the adoption of the statement of progress to amend the General Plan of San Pedro.

But most important, according to our spokesperson, is the lack of study of a drainage system channeled water to open the case of floods, and that given the location of our municipality, under the shipping channel, which happened in 1987 can happen again, and avenues for such other systems (such as storm drains) is clearly insufficient and inadequate, and is now, before further planning our urban future, when they should be taken into account such important issues as it is that much damage it caused in the floods of November 1987.
Finally, the commitment of the government team to review prior to exposure issues raised with the relevant technical, voted affirmatively cited DPi exposure to understand that this change is necessary because it depends on the orderly development of our Municipality in the coming years, and this, besides the technical and political view, accurate knowledge of all groups and individual citizens have a say on the matter.
At the turn of requests and questions, from DPi revealed the dramatic impact that the announced increase in the IBI will be for families with serious economic problems, and asked the government team that, if possible, enable any action to help these families.
