The Department of Education, through the People's University, during this quarter extends the range of training courses for adults with the insertion in the labor market such as pharmacy technician and environmental monitor.
So, last Monday, April 9, started the pharmacy technician course, with more than 50 students and will run for the months of April and May from 11:00 to 13:00 at the Center Women's and Social Services.
The pharmacy technician course consists of 30 hours and is divided into five blocks that deal with the drug, the general principles of anatomy, therapeutic groups, dispensing of medicines in the pharmacy, and dispensing of other products as infant feeding, dermopharmacy or homeopathy.
Also, next Thursday, April 12, starts at the Center for Social Services during environmental monitor, in which 30 students have registered.
This course, also 30 hours long, is divided into four thematic sections that deal with natural and environmental resources, environmental monitor, environmental education, and workshops and environmental activities.
The Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, stressed that, despite the lack of economic resources, the People's University maintains this quarter a wide range of courses aimed at employment and language and computer.
In this regard, the mayor has indicated that it has chosen to include new courses to facilitate insertion into the labor market, such as the pharmacy assistant and monitor environmental, and stressed the quality and level of these new titles, and its practicality.
