San Javier hosts from 1 to 7 July, the International Football I Campus Mariano Sanchez (16/04/2012)

Captain FC Cartagena coordinates the sports management of this educational project which combines athletic training with language training

The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, the Councillor for Sports, Pedro Luis Vera, Mariano Sanchez footballer and manager Geacodesa Sports Management, Antonio Legido, today presented the inaugural International Football Campus Mariano Sanchez, who be held from 1 to 7 July in the town marmenorense aimed at children 6-16 years.

The captain of FC Cartagena has also announced it will donate the profits he receives for this project to local charities Caritas and Love for Love, as "a sign of gratitude to the City for lending their facilities on this campus."

For his part, Councillor for Sports, Pedro Luis Vera has indicated that the activity of the campus will take place in the football field Jose Antonio Perez, Lo Pagan and the sports center.

Geacodesa manager, Antonio Legido, explained that the campus expects to host 140 children for a week compaginarán football training with workshops, entertainment and activities such as paddle tennis, golf, water sports, swimming, etc. and classes in English and French-oriented sport.
