The athlete ciezano and twice Olympic 20-kilometer march, Juanma Molina, today opened the III Olympic Games Dos Mares Institute, along with the mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, and the center's director, Gregory Rabal.
The event, which was also attended by councilors of Education, Guadalupe Garcia, Sports, Pedro Luis Vera, and Police, Jerome Moya began with the traditional parade of the 19 countries represented by students from the center, while the Olympic anthem sounded .
It was later handed over the Olympic flag to Juanma Molina and a group of students has sung the hymn of joy and three young men have uttered the Olympic oath in Arabic, Spanish and Romanian.
The athlete, who is currently seeking to qualify for London, said that the Olympic flag is a "symbol that integrates and unites all races and cultures of the world" and recalled that in this year's Olympic Games will bring together 10,000 athletes of 205 countries.
Also, Juanma Molina stressed the Olympic values, based on fair play, respect and companionship.
Meanwhile, the mayor of San Javier has praised the initiative of IES Dos Mares and highlighted the power of attraction that develops around the sport and the values ​​of integration and interdisciplinarity.
During the three days that develop these Olympics will be the leading sports and athletics center students will compete in the categories of high jump, long jump, shot put, speed and endurance.
