The Department of Tourism of the City of San Javier has announced the five winning photographs in the special contest Photographic Journey, organized on the occasion of the First Sea World Exhibition, in which there have been more than 150 photographs

The City of San Javier has announced the jury's special edition of the Photographic Journey in the given awards for the best images taken during the event Sea World Exhibition, held from 4 to 8 April 2012 in the municipality.

The five winning photographs, selected by a jury composed of members related to photography, nature and water sports will receive the publication "Excursions in the Mar Menor and the Campo de Cartagena" in particular, a hiking, cycling and hiking with children.

Thus, they have been awarded the snapshot of a seagull flapping his wings, taken by Manuel Ramos (Getafe - Madrid) from the beach Villananitos and the image titled "Takeoff", in which José Ramón Turrientes (Getafe) captures the flight three birds in the Regional Park of Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro.

Have also been awarded the photographs "Life" by Juan Muñoz (Alpedrete - Madrid) where you see a bee resting on a plant in the area of ​​reed beds of the Avenida del Puerto and "Flight at sunset", an image captured by Salvador Arenas (Roda - Albacete) from the Torre del Coto.

Also among the award-winning photography "In the evening," Joseph Balsas (San Javier), held in the Regional Park of Salinas y Arenales.

The Department of Tourism has organized more than a decade Photographic Journey by the Regional Park of Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro, an annual competition in which hundreds of visitors had their pictures in the categories of Fauna, Flora and Landscape.

The organization decided to organize a special edition on the occasion of the First Sea World Exhibition, extending the theme and the space of this contest and including among dozens of activities related to the sea, scheduled for this event which took place from 4 to 8 in April.

In this special edition 114 participants were enrolled during the five day event and have entered into the competition a total of 154 photographs.
