A total of 25 students received the course "The waiter, a major travel agent", organized by the Centre for Tourism Qualification Murcia and CAM Social work
The Centre for Tourism Initiatives in San Javier (CIT) launched yesterday the course "The Waiter: a major travel agent", for 25 students, organized by the Centre for Tourism and Qualification Social work of the CAM, and that conducted in eight municipalities of the region between May and July.
The Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Garcia, said at the opening of the course is aimed primarily at workers in the hospitality sector and aims to acquire a higher quality and professionalism of the bar room and professional techniques and skills that better meet the needs of the clientele.
He also noted that this training aims to sensitize workers about the importance of tourism in the region, so that they know tourist attractions of the Mar Menor and convey to customers.
The course fully face and in which the student will have the material resources needed for each specific occasion, consists of four main blocks: 'Customer', 'Room Service Protocol', 'Introduction to tasting wine 'and' tourism awareness'.
The course, which has 24 teaching hours will be held from 2 to 21 May, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:00 to 21:00 pm in the CIT of San Javier and subsequently extended to the municipalities of Cartagena , Cehegín, Aguilas, Mazarron, Bullas, Puerto Lumbreras and Molina de Segura.
