The City of San Javier has become today the new City Social Council, composed of representatives of political groups, associations, unions and business groups, business and neighborhood of the municipality, among others.
The revised General Plan and Municipal Urban Plan Provider Payment have been the two main issues to be discussed at the first meeting of the new Town Board of Trustees.
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez chaired the inaugural meeting of the Council, which have been submitted to the new members of this advisory body that are present in representatives of different social sectors of the municipality.
The mayor stressed that the purpose of this council is to move towards local government closest to the interests of the citizen, through discussion and sharing of local issues of particular relevance in the economic, social and urban , among others.
The Social Council of the City of San Javier is chaired by the mayor and, for this inaugural meeting, was elected vice Tárraga Hilario, president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in the municipality.
Also, charges have been appointed special relevance citizen and members of this body to Francisco José Jaén, for the important social function that develops in front of the Love for Love charity that helps people at risk of social exclusion, because Sofia Fúster member of the board of the AECC and the Virgen del Carmen association, further supported by a wide experience in the educational and cultural city.
The remaining members of the Council Councillor for Citizen Participation, Silvia Egea, on behalf of the councilors of the four municipal political parties Jose Guillermo Garcia (PP), María José Albaladejo (PSOE), Jose Luis Ros (UPyD), and Joseph Antonio Albaladejo (dpi), plus the UGT union representative, Carmelo Martinez, and local entrepreneurship, Jose Antonio Sáez (Association of Lo Pagan), and Philip Red (Business Association of San Pedro).
Also, part of this body as members of neighborhood associations are Triviño Laura Frances (Neighborhood Association La Junquera), Roberto Codon (The Cairn), Jesus Ferreira (Villananitos) and Tony Luton (neighbors helping).
Rounding out the City Social Council Jane Cronin (local associations), Dolores Rios (pensioners Lo Pagan) and Joseph Henarejos (pensioners of San Javier).
In this first session constituent municipal technicians have exposed members of the progress of the Revised General Plan Municipal, which is undergoing public exposure, in order to collect suggestions, questions and contributions from the public pinatarense.
Another highlight of the day, has been explaining the payment plan providers regulated in RD.
Law 4/2012, and the consequences and economic impact of this measure in the business and social fabric of the municipality.
