The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez and INFO director, Juan Hernandez, yesterday opened the last session of the First Conference Business of the municipality, which took place on 23 and 24 May and attended by more than 80 persons.
During his speech, the mayor highlighted the efforts of companies to find alternative business and adapt to new requirements and noted the obligation of public authorities to promote actions to strengthen the economic structure and form a viable and strong business network.

For its part, the director of INFO, Juan Hernandez, said the core task of the regional development agency is the revitalization of the regional economy through the promotion of industry by supporting their growth and establishment in other countries.
As for the action lines of INFO, Hernandez noted that the axes of action of this entity are supporting entrepreneurs to facilitate the reconstruction of the production, and strengthen competitiveness through internationalization, innovation and cooperation.
In this regard he said that currently 21% of production goes abroad Murcia, although these exports are concentrated in the food industry and are directed mainly to European countries.
In this regard, Hernandez said that among the objectives of INFO is to support companies in other sectors to also sell abroad, thus diversifying the regional export, as well as opening markets in destinations like South America or the UAE.
Likewise, the director of INFO influenced the need for companies to invest in innovation to improve their labor market and reduce costs, and to promote business integration projects to strengthen the market position of SMEs.
