The pergolas of the esplanade of Lo Pagan, one of the most emblematic places of the coast marmenorense are in an unfortunate situation for the neglect that have kept the charge of the conservation area, successive municipal councils for several years, not require repair or preparation who had returned.
Therefore, from DPi has questioned the current government on several occasions to see the efforts of the Corporation present in this direction, and the date of its possible repair, receiving in the last full response of the lady councilor for urban planning, where told us that there is a report that confirms the poor state of the same and recommended the dismantling of those pergolas.
Just as we were told that maintenance was the responsibility of the delimitation of Costas, and being unable to install other for lack of funds the area remain without any adornment.
Given this information, and to know the date and scope of the report, on May 25 requested in writing by DPI, copy the file to be processed for this purpose on the grounds that have resulted in having to remove pergolas by its state of neglect and apparently unable to install other for lack of funds is incomprehensible, and demonstrates the insensitivity of those who have governance responsibilities in that area and have not been able to effectively manage their committed fixing them, or requiring maintenance for several years, as the poor and the poor condition of these arbors does not occur in a month or even in a year.
It's just a natural decay that had remained little could have been corrected.
From DPi understand that there are currently more depth issues, but we must try to find a solution to this situation is an obligation rather than the responsibility of the Municipal Government and the opposition should try that solutions are made fruitful for our neighbors and to not deteriorate further the image of our City.
