The center Leisure and Emerging Arts has welcomed today an educational concert, the band by Union Musical San Javier, with which the departments of Education and Culture aim to bring music to the school community
Over 150 children have attended educational concert held today at the Center for Emerging Entertainment and Arts, in charge of the municipal band Musical Union of San Javier.
This activity aims to bring live music to younger children, and to encourage their interest in the municipal band and spread the musical culture through concerts.
In addition to the Municipal Music School, have worked with this activity the music departments of schools of the municipality, working in classrooms preform some of the themes that were interpreted and participating in program development.
During the show have given some flash cards to attendees with activities related to music and concert pieces and two music teachers from schools Hopes and Los Pinos, presented the performance, including explanations fun and involving the most small in the development of the concert.
The program has included topics fun and recognizable by children so that through them, could identify the different families of instruments.
Thus, we have performed the songs "Titanic" and "Pocahontas" with woodwinds, while rhythmic themes have been chosen for the metal, as "Colonel Bogey".
The musicians of the municipal band also played parts of "The Flintstones" and "Pink Panther" with percussion instruments.
The action has been completed with other songs that the children have participated following the ritual chanting palms or some of the issues.
