The center of San Javier held for the first time, the Pinatarense Bando, a playful and gastronomic event which combines local cuisine and performances by young talents
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, and the president of the ASPE, Angel Lopez, opened yesterday, with other members of the corporation and representatives of the hospitality industry, the Bando I Pinatarense, held until Sunday June 10 in the parking Avenue Emilio Castelar.
The mayor explained that it is a gastronomic and recreational event will serve as a prelude to the festivities, and in which a dozen booths offering dishes from the garden and the sea.
In addition, parallel I celebrated on lives Pinatar Talent Contest, organized by ASPE and the Department of Youth, in which more than thirty young people from different disciplines.
Yesterday was held the first semifinal of the competition, with the participation of 18 contestants among whom were heavy metal bands, solo singers, flamenco, salsa, gymnastics, break dancing, imitators, among others.
The jury, composed by the composer Pedro Contreras, Claudia Zapata flamenco dancer and music producer and DJ Joshua Garcia, qualified for the final Headon, Sergio Almagro, Elvist Mode, July and Andrew, Sn2 and Salsa Rico.
The final of this competition will be held on Saturday, after the Second semifinal tonight, and the winner gets a prize of 1,000 euros, while 500 will be awarded to the runner and 250 the third finalist.
In the field of gastronomy, the booths participants, which include associations, local restaurants and bars, centered yesterday its offer dishes from the garden, while today will celebrate the "culinary journey of the egg" and Saturday will be devoted to the sea , with sampling of pot from 14:00.
