The Department of Youth of the City of San Javier has scheduled several activities for the months of July and August to be developed in the Leisure and Arts Emerging Villananitos beach.
The Councillor for Youth, Angel Gaona, today presented the program "Summer Youth 2012", which includes workshops, programs and events aimed at young people of the municipality and to be developed in the months of July and August.
Gaona explained that this program meets the demands that the Department of Youth has collected along the course and intends to continue promoting the Leisure and Arts Centre Emerging as a meeting of young pinatarenses.
The workshop area will include support for the study, mainly for high school students and aimed at improving the planning and work habits of young people, and crafts, aimed at fostering creativity and focused on the plastic work through the paint or recycled materials.
You will also develop a film workshop, which seeks to arouse reflection and critical thinking among young people through the screening of films related to their hobbies and interests, it will be structured in different blocks and films related to music, skateboarding, sleeve, and so on.
In addition, a workshop skate, which has been widely demanded by users of the center, as this space has a skate track daily receiving dozens of fans.
The council has indicated that this workshop will be sponsored by Urban.
The programming block will be developed for the first time a sports area on the beach Villananitos in which young people can play sports like volleyball, beach soccer or tennis instructors advised by the Department of Sports, hours will be from Tuesday to Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00 hours.
In parallel, perform the "Footprints", which is part of the Not Fade Away project, which aims to bring together young people with common interests and form them into group dynamics and techniques to develop a joint project.
In the area of ​​events, the Leisure Centre will host "Mar Menor in Concert", on July 20, with the participation of various groups throughout the region and will be held August 12 International Day of Youth with a festival will include exhibitions, project presentation of the "Footprints", exhibition of photography, graffiti, breakdancing and skating exhibitions and championship games, among other activities.
