The Plenum of the City of San Javier today approved the amendment of the agreement signed between the municipality and the owners of the bars of the Curve, to include two recommendations in the favorable report of the Department of Sustainability Costa, under the Ministry of Environment
The Plenum of the City of San Javier today approved with votes in favor of PP, and UPyD DPi and against the PSOE, the modification of the agreement between the City and the owners of the bars of the Curve, located in the seafront of Lo Pagan, allowing the reopening of the recreation area during the next 15 years.
The mayor, Visitation Martinez explained that this modification does not involve a significant variation of the agreement last February, when it approved the agreement in full.
The mayor noted that after a favorable report from the central administration, this change only includes a clause citing the fourth transitory provision of the Coastal Act, which prohibits the execution of works involving an increased volume of existing buildings or involve an increase in value that can be taken into account for expropriation.
Also in the agreement contemplated that the documentation for the revision of the General Municipal Plan of Arrangement, which is currently underway, will include the approval of interim uses of the bars on the curve.
Visitation Martinez has said that with this modification is provided with greater legal certainty for the reopening of the bars on the curve and stressed that all reports issued by the technical services and legal council, the region and the Coasts are favorable, demonstrating the strict legality of that agreement.
Under this agreement, adopted in full in February, is permitted in recreation area of ​​the curve for 15 years and the owners give for free to the Town Hall premises.
The document includes the adoption of corrective measures in terms of noise and environment and monitor the strict enforcement of closing times, in order to avoid irritating the neighbors.
In addition, owners of premises are committed to strengthening the cleanliness, security and safety in their area of ​​influence.
Meanwhile, the Town Planning, Angel Gaona, clarified that there is no specific date for reopening, but after the modification and final approval of the agreement, the premises may open gradually when they have all appropriate licenses.
