The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez and Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Garcia, have raised today awarded the blue flag beach of La Puntica of Lo Pagan.
The Blue Flag environmental quality than has been raised today at the beach of La Puntica, which also has the quality Q, and the Marina de las Salinas.
This internationally recognized environmental award given by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) has been awarded this year also to the visitor center "Las Salinas".
The mayor recalled that, in addition, the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE), has returned this year to provide distinctive quality Q to the beaches of La Puntica and Villananitos.
In this regard, Visitation Martinez has said that these prestigious distinctive "guarantee to all those who visit our beaches, these optimal conditions have both environmental quality and services."
For his part, Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Garcia, highlighted the intense work carried out from the City to the beaches of San Javier remain a benchmark of quality in the coastal marmenorense.
After the flag-raising on the beach of La Puntica, the mayor and council have moved to the port Marina de Las Salinas, located in the Mediterranean Sea, near the beach of La Llana, and has also obtained the blue flag.
The manager of Marina de Las Salinas, Sunday Macanás, explained that the label is granted for the period 2012-2013, as in the case of the blue flag ports revalidated every two years.
