The City of San Javier has doubled this year the budget allocation for these grants and has been extended to all levels of compulsory education and vocational training, high school and college

The mayor of San Javier, Martinez Visitation, and the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, reported today in a press conference on the financial support that the City has convened this year to purchase school supplies and mobility.

Visitation Martinez explained that this year has doubled the budget for aid, looking at euros 30,000 euros compared to 15,000 in previous years, and noted that a total of 400 students from the municipality will benefit from this measure.

It also noted that beneficiaries have increased levels of aid, which reach from children enrolled in three-year second cycle of primary education to university students.

The mayor stated that the aim of the council with such aid is to alleviate the financial burden for many families pinatarenses the course starts on the purchase of materials and the cost of travel in college.

For its part, the Councillor for Education has indicated to be allocated a total of € 20,000 for the purchase of school supplies, intended for students enrolled in the municipality in second cycle of primary education, primary, secondary, high schools and vocational training.

In addition, $ 10,000 will be allocated to students of intermediate level training cycles and higher college and pursuing their studies outside the municipality.

So summon aid of EUR 50 100 for kindergarten, 134, 75 euros for primary and secondary education, 66 plus 75 euros aid for intermediate training cycles, higher and high school.

Regarding the provision of mobility aids, will be offered 100 grants of 100 euros for students and university training courses they pursue their studies outside the municipality.

To qualify for such aid is necessary that the beneficiary is registered in the municipality for at least two years, that income does not exceed the thresholds and, in the case of university and training that students meet academic results indicated by the Department.
