The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, today received two Japanese students who have just completed an intensive Spanish at Castelar Hispanic Studies Center, located in the municipality.
The students, who were accompanied by their teacher and the school's director, Pilar Valdes, have highlighted the close treatment of the residents of the municipality and its cuisine, its climate and proximity to the sea.
Meanwhile, Pilar Valdes explained that Hispanic Studies Center, accredited by the Cervantes Institute since 2007, has a wide range of training aimed at foreigners and has indicated that Castelar has received hundreds of students of different nationalities, as Finnish, Russians, Germans, Swedes and Dutch, among others.
Visitation Martinez stressed the importance of these courses as a means of promoting the city abroad and has praised the work of dissemination which is made from the center of Hispanic Studies in the municipality.
