The talk show "Between Us", coordinated by the Department of Equality, has tried for two sessions the topic of menopause through explanations and advice from the health center midwife of San Javier
The midwife at the health center of San Javier Piris Carmen, today provided the second of the scheduled talks on the menopause in the series of talks "Between Us", organized by the Department of Equality.
The purpose of these sessions was to inform the participants about the physiological process of menopause and standardize and provide self-care advice and resources to women at any time in its life cycle to face this stage with an optimal level of health and self, the midwife explained.
Also, in these talks has explained the figure of the midwife as primary care health staff reference competent to address issues of sexual and reproductive health of women, at any stage, including menopause.
