The House of Culture hosts this Saturday, from 22:00, the concert "The music of Rousseau in the salons of Paris", which is part of the International Congress of the third centenary of the birth of the famous writer, philosopher and Swiss musician, organized by the University of Murcia and Cajamurcia Foundation.
The concert features renowned musicians like Gloria Sanchez soprano, tenor Martin Arms, Darling Dyle (violin) Maria del Mar Aranda (viola), Yu-Ting Ng (cello), José Fernández Vera (flute), Agustín Sánchez (guitar) and Rocio Hernandez (key).
The program focuses on classical scores whose germ eighteenth century Paris, which brought together musicians from all over Europe, giving the international French music.
So, the show is divided into two distinct chronologically and thematically, a pastoral comedy first part where village women are the main characters and that consists of pieces of Rousseau, Pergolesi, Pisiello and Piccini, and a second contribution in the tragic heroines, which includes compositions by Gluck and Mozart.
International Congress of the third centenary of the birth of Rousseau (1712-2012), met in Murcia international researchers from various fields of knowledge such as philosophy, literature, the humanities or music, that analyze the work of the philosopher and his reflection in the XXI century.
