The Ministry of the Presidency, through the General Directorate for the Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth, Legal Protection of Children and Reform, along with the municipalities in the region, promoting the creation of the Local Coordination tables against Gender Violence as a tool to enhance early detection of cases of violence and protection of victims of high risk.
The general director of Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth, and Reform Legal Protection of Minors, Veronica Lopez, said today during the act of creation of the Coordinating Bureau of Local San Javier, the "coordination" of professionals involved in the fight against gender violence as a "strategy to optimize the performances of prevention and improving care for the victims."
From the conviction that coordination between all actors is "indispensable" to the fight against gender violence, the Presidential commitment to implementation of the Local Coordination tables as "working tool from which affects the prevention and direct intervention with victims, "said Veronica Lopez.
