The second edition of the walking route "Walking together against violence" has left the City and has toured the main streets of the town and the promenade of Lo Pagan.
The mayor of San Javier, Martinez Visitation, and the councilors of Women and Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, and Youth and Urban, Angela Gaona, participated in the second path walk "Walking together against violence", an activity part of the events planned to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which falls on November 25.
This solidarity has come up more than six miles, starting from the Town Hall, touring the town and the seafront to get to Mill Quentin.
During the tour participants have shown a black shirt with the message "No to violence against women."
The mayor stated that the purpose of this route, as well as the other activities scheduled by the city to mark the International Day Against Gender Violence is "show our strongest protest against this social evil, and delve into the work of prevention and awareness continues to develop so that the Department of Equality ".
Testimonies of victims
Besides this march, on 21 November, was presented on Fox!, A work in which Julia Romero collected 18 testimonies of women victims of gender violence, among which is his personal experience.
