The Initial Vocational Training Program offered by the City of San Javier have started this week with two groups of 15 students in the categories of auxiliary operations building maintenance and support service hair salon.
The City of San Javier teaches this course the Initial Professional Qualification Programmes (PCPI) in ancillary modalities hairdressing and building maintenance.
The PCPI are intended for students from the age of 16 who have not passed the compulsory secondary education and lack of professional qualification.
The Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, and program staff have maintained a briefing this week with the parents of the 30 students enrolled for this course.
During the meeting, the council said that through these programs, students are awarded a qualification of assistant coach and the goal is to enable the inclusion of these young business partner, and expand basic skills so they can continue their studies in different teachings.
For its part, the teachers explained that the course is divided into modules generally aimed at students to acquire basic skills and other specific skills related to each of the modalities.
These programs combine theoretical training with a training in workplaces, facilitating the employment of young people.
During this course, the students of San Javier will practice training in the local store and at the Academy of Hair & Beauty Antonio Moya.
