The Department of Education, with the help of several volunteers, has organized several educational visits to the town hall through which more than 400 schools in the municipality known, through this institution, the content and relevance of the Constitution.
On the occasion of Constitution Day, which is celebrated on December 6, the City of San Javier is open from 29 November to 4 December, over 400 students in third through sixth grade of schools in the municipality.
The objective of this activity, organized by the Department of Education, in collaboration with the local volunteer Plan, is that the smallest know the Constitution from the City, its closest government.
Thus, these visits begin at the Plenary Hall, where the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, explains that this space is the "heart" of the City, a symbol of the democratic system.
Later it is explained to the little ones, through a projection, when the constitution was adopted, which contains basic principles, what is the Spanish flag, or what is a parliamentary monarchy and what their representatives.
Children run through the various bureaus and departments of the City and know what job each of them in the operation of the Consistory.
The tour ends at the town hall, where the mayor, Visitation Martinez explains what your work in front of City Hall.
After the visit, the children participate in a workshop, organized by volunteers, where they contribute to create a mural commemorating the Day of the Constitution.
