The coordinator Aymara women in Peru in San Pedro sample collection "Spinning future" (01/12/2012)

The craftsmanship and tradition of the weavers of Aymara regions of Peru and the latest fashions created by Spanish designers, are the elements that give life to this project developed business and cooperation in the region of Puno, near Lake Titicaca in Peru.

The coordinator of Aymara women (Peru) presented yesterday at the Centre for Tourism Initiatives in San Javier his collection for 2012 "Spinning Future", this paper is the result of a cooperation project for four years is helping to improve the quality lives of over 500 families.

This project, a collaboration of the Coordinating Aymara women, the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Design Development Association, was born four years ago with the aim of adapting the weaver tradition of women in this region to global trade Canons .

The project Capacity Building of women's leadership in the Aymara communities, led by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Madrid, Adolfo Cazorla, has managed since women of this community put in place its own stores, exported to other continents and sell their products through internet.

The company is working with this project Camposeven years and has contributed to that for the second year running, this collection is presented in San Javier.

During the presentation ceremony, the Mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez highlighted the solidarity and initiative camposeven local agricultural enterprise and the entrepreneurial drive of Aymara women, who through their work are improving the lives of hundreds of families in a depressed region of Peru.

Meanwhile, the manager of Camposeven, Adolfo Cazorla, said company representatives have visited the Aymara women coordinator twice and have seen its effects in the region during the four years of involvement in the project.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Madrid and project director, Adolfo Cazorla, highlighted the entrepreneurial vision of Aymara women, and the importance of creating synergies between groups and institutions to develop initiatives how are you contributing to create real business initiatives and provide tools for these women to have their own autonomy.

Director of Design Development Association, San Gabino Garcia Alicia, was in charge of presenting the parade in which garments were current trend but with a nod to the Aymara culture and the commitment to quality and delivery craft.

The collection "Spinning Future" includes a wide selection of presses woman, man and child, as well as accessories, which stand out for their versatility and design.

After the parade, attendees could purchase these products in a retail outlet that was installed in the Centre for Tourism Initiatives.
