The City of San Javier and the concessionaire of public transport, buses Immaculate, have signed a new collective agreement that extends the beneficiaries of free bus
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by the Councillor for Transport, José Guillermo García, has signed a collaboration agreement with the manager of the concessionaire of public transport, buses Immaculate, Jose Sanchez, to promote mobility public transport among the most vulnerable.
The mayor explained that this agreement extends the target groups that included the earlier agreement.
So may choose to free public transport people over 65, pensioners, young people up to 18 years old, unemployed, large families and people who are at risk socially, certified by the municipal social services.
Coaches Immaculate serves on the town with different lines connecting regularly with the urban beach area surrounding municipalities, railway station Balsicas-Mar Menor, and Hospital Los Arcos.
The beneficiaries of the free service should request transportation bonds, exchangeable for ordinary tickets at the Leisure Centre and Emerging Arts (youth under 18), pensioner households (pensioners and over 65 years), the Department of Employment, located in CIT (unemployed), and the Social Services Centre (large families and people at risk of social exclusion).
In order to ensure the effectiveness of the agreement will create a joint technical commission for the coordination and monitoring of the actions included in it.
