The Regional Assembly has welcomed today the filing of the I Safe Goal Cup, a soccer tournament, to be held from 1 to 6 July in the Mar Menor and hopes to bring together 7,000 young people in the villages of the region.
The President of the Assembly, Francisco Celdran, was accompanied by the director of the Safe Spain Goal Cup, Herminio Menendez.
Also, the event was attended by the Mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García, and the sports council Cartagena, Diego Ortega, Los Alcazares, Francis Montesinos and San Javier Carlos Albaladejo.
Renowned sports journalist Ignacio Cano participated in this act as Rapporteur of signing the agreement.
The President of the Assembly, said that this event will not only promote the sport, but also the values ​​inherent in football, as personal effort, preparation or ability to compete.

The Safe Goal Spain Cup is open to clubs affiliated to a national federation and FIFA federations belonging to school.
