The campaign "Awareness with science", part of the Community Argos program is directed to inform the educational community and health, first-year students of secondary education on the consequences of alcohol consumption
The CEO of Citizen and Drug Addiction, Juan Manuel Ruiz, presented today, with Councilwoman Social Policy, Francisca Pelegrin, and the head of the health area VIII Mar Menor, Francisco Hernandez, presented the campaign "Conscience Science ", in marked Argos Community Programme in the health center of San Javier.
During the presentation, Juan Manuel Ruiz explained that this action is aimed at students of 1 Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) and aims to prevent the consumption of alcohol at an early age and awareness of its health effects.
It has also indicated that this campaign is intended that young people are transmitters themselves the risks of alcohol use and disseminate the lessons learned from their immediate environment.
San Javier has today launched the campaign which contemplates both institutes and health centers and involving health professionals, teachers, and local technicians working in the area of ​​Prevention of Drug Addiction.
In this sense, the councilor of Social Policy, Francisca Pelegrin has indicated that this campaign is included in the Plan II Municipal Drug Addiction Prevention and that will address the first of ESO students of institutes Tárraga Manuel Escribano, Dos Mares, and St. Peter the Apostle.
The project will be developed in a total of 21 health centers and 50 schools in the areas of health VIII, Mar Menor, and II, Cartagena.
This action is vertebrate in three teaching units.
The first is in talks with counselors and professionals in class, the second is a visit to the health center in your area where you will have the explanation of a healthcare professional.
Finally, the classroom teacher will meet with students to give them the opportunity to reflect on all the information they have gathered during the previous two sessions.
These visits will be coordinated by technicians Drogodependencias municipal plans.
