The Library of Lo Pagan, with the collaboration of Local Voluntary Plan, launched this activity to encourage reading in which children create their own stories, familiar with the process of creating and editing a book
Students in kindergarten and primary school Our Lady of Carmen and Castelar College participate in the "Books giants", organized by The Pagan Library in cooperation with the Local Volunteer Plan.
This initiative is part of the library program aimed at schoolchildren in Lo Pagán and is intended for children of nursery and primary schools to become familiar with the process of creating a book and develop their creativity and imagination.
The activity consists in making giant books, A3, from stories created by the same school and recycling items or materials they have at home.
The library staff of Lo Pagán, volunteers and teachers guide children in creating large format these stories to be exhibited in April, after the activity.
The local volunteer activities in collaboration with other local libraries and reading support and music therapy workshops.
