The Governing Board of the People's University has approved this week expanded its educational offerings with five new courses in dietetics and nutrition, school preparation, English for customer care, restoration protocol, and massage and relaxation applied to aesthetics
The People's University started the second quarter expanded its educational offerings, which are expected to reach the 1,500 registrations during 2012-2013.
The Governing Board of the People's University this week approved the inclusion of five courses to complete the offer of the 34 already offered in October.
Thus, in this second term include test preparation courses to access intermediate vocational training, and diet and nutrition, which will be held for the first time in the VHS, and put into place a second level of English for care client protocol, which at this stage will address the restoration, and applied relaxation massage and aesthetics.
The Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, explained that this increase is due to the high demand in the VHS of these courses, and aims to complete the varied and wide range of this year, which has prioritized training employment as well as providing the institution of higher academic quality.
Addition of new courses in the month of March is also taught German Level II, four levels of English, French survival, photoshop, computer typing, Contaplus, pharmacy assistant II, environmental monitor II level training basic occupational safety and food handler course.
The mayor highlighted the consolidation of the VHS, which in recent years has progressively increased its number of students, from 1,120 in the 2010-2011 academic year, 1,350 the past year, and the forecast for this year is to be reach 1,500 students.
He also highlighted that in this period has also worked in the recognition and quality of training, the courses so that this course has a longer duration for recognition in baremación to other government authorities as well as public and private.
