Local Voluntary Plan, in collaboration with the Department of Social Policy, has launched a kindergarten service in Spanish literacy workshops offered to immigrants in the Social Services Centre.
The Department of Social Policy imparted within the Reception and Integration Program, Spanish workshops for immigrants, new this year, are complemented by a kindergarten service staffed by volunteers.
The workshops, which began on January 11, are divided into two levels: level I literacy and Spanish, and have more than 50 Moroccan students.
These courses are aimed at promoting the integration of immigrants in the municipality through the teaching of the Spanish language.
These courses, which began in 2007, are held by technicians of Social Services, which also have the support of a student's practical training module on Social Integration.
To facilitate students' access to courses and training balance family and, this year has launched a toy library, staffed by two volunteers from the local volunteer Plan, which made games and activities with the children of the participating students who are not yet school age, between 0 and 3 years.
Also noteworthy collaboration of the association of social support Love for Love, who has donated educational and fun materials for kindergarten service.
