The mayor gave to Cabildo streets last night Cluster General Easter processions to allow an act which also unveiled the poster for the 2013 Easter
The mayor of San Javier, Martinez Visitation, chaired the ceremony last night streets and grant check to the brotherhoods of Easter, which this year has an amount of 53,000 euros.
The ceremony began at 21:00, when representatives of the 13 fraternities and groups San Javier, escorted by the Roman and the third band of bugles and drums of San Pedro Apostle, procesionaron to City Hall to ask Mayor the town streets.
During the ceremony, the mayor highlighted the work and effort of hundreds of brothers, who adorned the thrones for months, preparing the music, costumes and parades, to magnify the Easter pinatarense, only in the vicinity of Mar Menor.
For his part, Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Garcia, said the tourism dimension of this Holy Week, which every year attracts hundreds of visitors in the town.
The General council, Mariano Visedo, Lent said, as "a time to reflect and seek the path of faith" and stressed the municipality cofrade tradition, encouraging "parents introducing their children follow in Holy Week to enhance the solemnity and delicacy of the processions every year. "
At the event, was also presented the poster Easter 2013, this year starring the image of Santiago Apostle, Escudero Blas pinatarense photography and the program of events and processions.
The ceremony concluded with the streets offering a laurel wreath at the monument to the Nazarene, located in the Plaza of Spain, which honors the work of pinatarenses that since 1951, created and praised the Holy Week in the municipality.
