The City of San Javier, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism Region, has scheduled several free tours, along with 26 other tourist offices in various municipalities Murcia
On Sunday, March 17, was held the first "Salinero landscape Route", a free guided tour will be repeated on 21 April and 19 May.
This route is part of the free tours initiative launched by the Institute of Tourism in the Region, with the collaboration of 26 municipalities.
The Department of Tourism has highlighted the success of this initiative, as the first "Road salt landscape" completed the maximum number of 30 participants, and squares for the two visits in April and May are also complete.
The visit started at 11:00 Tourist Initiative Centre, where watched a video about Salinas and Arenales Regional Park of San Pedro.
Later, accompanied by a guide mediomabiental went to the Visitors Center "Las Salinas" where they explained various features of this natural, fauna and flora, interpreting classroom, before entering the National Park.
Visitors followed the walkway over the pond, towards the coast, a journey which made several stops to watch the birds in the speckles and salt ponds with the help of binoculars.
The route continued until the "Bend of the Snake" starts where Pinar de Coterillo and where participants were able to observe other environments characteristic of the Salinas Park, such as the salt marsh, the pine stocking, and dunes, which reach the beach.
Later, they returned to the starting point where they were presented with a jar of salt and they were informed that they could perform other activities in the municipality.
The Department of Tourism has also highlighted the valuation of the participants, since all of the respondents recommend a visit to friends and family, most Americans believe that what is liked bird watching with binoculars and explanations of the guidance, and propose a Route Ornithological perform in upcoming Free guided by our municipality.
