The Plenum of San Javier approved in special session today undertake renovations in water distribution network and liquidate the economic imbalance with the concessionaire of the public service
San Javier renew infrastructure potable water network in order to reduce water loss and prevent the City pay annually the amount of this imbalance, which has been producing since 2007.
Thus, the municipal council of San Javier approved today, in extraordinary session, recognizing the outstanding balance of 2010, amounting to 717,404 euros, and will be included in the plan Provider Payment of local authorities adopted last February.
It also states that the concessionaire performs resetting of the oldest and most deteriorated distribution network of drinking water, with a budget of 2.85 million euros.
These works respond to the public interest by water losses in recent years and health criteria for the quality of water for human consumption, and that the City will avoid assuming the economic imbalance payment in future years.
This agreement was approved today in the very extraordinary and urgent in order to pay the balance of 2010 may be included in the Plan Provider Payment under the terms established by the Royal Decree 4/2013.
