The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, have presented the diplomas of various courses offered by the VHS during the current academic year.
The People's University of San Pedro del Pinatar has closed the academic year with 1,500 students enrolled in more than 40 training courses including an extended range of languages, courses for employment, information technology.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and the mayor of Education, Guadalupe Garcia, have presented the diplomas to the students of the Pharmacy Assistant Courses I and II, Diet and Nutrition, Nursing Assistant Technician, Help at Home, Massage Techniques (aesthetics) I and II, Technical Assistant Early Childhood Education and Literacy.
In the opening ceremony, the Councillor for Education noted that this course has affected the commitment languages, whose range has been expanded with Russian, Italian and Chinese, as well as specific courses aimed at employment in the field health, welfare, and tourism.
It also welcomed the cooperation of Cajamurcia foundation for confidence in this project as well as to teachers who daily contribute to improving the quality of training of the VHS.
For his part, the Mayor congratulated the students for the training obtained in different courses and encouraged them to remain part of the VHS.
Visitation Martinez reiterated the Council's commitment to training, especially geared to employment, and vowed to keep working for the training of the People's University next year will be even more extended and innovative.
