San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagan celebrated this festival in separate processions in which dozens of children for First Communion, accompanied by faithful and civil and religious authorities, toured the altars installed by guilds, associations and neighbors
On Sunday, June 2, San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagan religious festival celebrated Corpus Christi, where a hundred children procesionaron communion.
San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the largest procession, preceded by a Mass at the Church of the Holy Trinity at 19:00.
Subsequently, the banners of the guilds of San Pedro del Pinatar opened the parade procession, followed by dozens of children who this year celebrated their first communion and flower petals sprinkled on the altar and the streets of the town, to the square of the Constitution.
The confraternities of San Juan, Santiago and Cristo del Perdon, the association of the Virgen del Carmen and faithful assembled six altars municipality in different parts of town to receive the consecrated symbol of Christ's body, carried by the pastor of the town Roberto Garcia, who procesionó under a canopy.
Members of the municipal corporation and faithful of the municipality closed the procession followed by the band Musical Union of San Pedro.
The coastal hamlet of Lo Pagan held on Corpus Christi during the morning, with a Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Carmen, at 11:00 hours and subsequent procession walked five altars and attended a dozen children.
