The cultural association Unlimited Art, in collaboration with the Department of Youth, has launched this project, funded with EUR 5,010 for European Youth in Action program

Youth Councilwoman Angela Gaona, the municipal technician Alejandro Lopez, and Juan Martinez, representative of the association Unlimited Art, today presented the Project Blue-i, based on the new technologies as a means of bringing information to all young people.

Gaona Angela explained that this is a project developed by Unlimited Art Association, with the collaboration of the Department of Youth, which aims to make all youth in the municipality have a tool that allows them to access the information they really interested in a fast, simple and free.

Addition, he noted that one of the main functions of the Department is to guide, promote and support projects and youth initiatives of the municipality, through helplines as European Youth in Action program, which has funded this project with 5,010 euros , in addition to a municipal contribution of 800 euros.

Alejandro Lopez explained that Blue-i is the creation of a youth agenda which can be downloaded for free on PCs and mobile phones with content tailored to the concerns of young people, such as training, education, culture, leisure and sport, among other topics.

It also explained that this information will be adapted and created by young people themselves and that the project includes a training phase technology workshops, taught by Art Unlimited on video editing, digital content adaptation, graphic design, etc..

Subsequently create the digital agenda and develop an awareness campaign among the youth of the town including leisure activities and "Blue Campaign" which consist of sending information over Bluetooth, a technology free to all young people can access through mobile devices.

For his part, Juan Martinez explained that Art Unlimited is a multidisciplinary association created by young professional audiovisual and performing arts in the region has developed various workshops, activities and shows.

It has also highlighted that the purpose of this partnership is to encourage teamwork and active participation of young people, through actions such as the Blue-i project.
