The center of San Pedro del Pinatar celebrates the second edition of Pinatarense Bando, recreational and gastronomic event which combines local cuisine and performances by young talent
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and ASPE association president, Angel Lopez, accompanied by part of the Municipal Corporation, inaugurated yesterday Bando Pinatarense II, which runs through next Sunday June 9 in the parking Avenue of Emilio Castelar.
The mayor explained that this is a fun food event and will serve as a preamble for the festivities, and in which a dozen stalls offering dishes from the kitchen and pinatarense Murcia.
In addition, parallel marks the Talent Contest II organized by the Department of Youth, in which more than thirty young people from different disciplines.
Yesterday saw the first semifinal, with the participation of 17 contestants who offered a varied show that featured performances by pop, rock, Latin dancing, flamenco or hip hop song, among other modalities.
The jury, composed by composer Pedro Contreras, the contestant of TV Fame A Bailar!, Lisa Sanduende, and the winning group in the last edition, SN2, qualified as finalists to Latin dance couple, Philip and Julia, the hip hop group, Replay, the duo of Inma and Oscar, the soloist Shani, Mirella, a Spanish dance performance, the duo Gemini, and Irene Jara cantanate.
The final of this competition will be held on Saturday, after the second semi-final tonight, and the winner will receive a prize of 1,000 euros, while 500 will be awarded to the runner and 250 the third finalist.
In the dining area, the booths participants, among which include associations, local restaurants and bars, focused yesterday its offer in the sandwiches, while today celebrate the Day Sailor, Saturday will be devoted to dishes huertanos and will close on Sunday with rice for lunch and dinner ropavieja.
