The Councillor for Tourism of San Pedro del Pinatar, Antonio Garcia, received yesterday from the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism Jose Manuel Soria, the flags "Q" for Quality flown this summer on the beaches of La Puntica and Villananitos.

This award, given by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), guarantees accessibility, cleanliness and safety of the certified beaches.

The beaches of La Puntica and Villananitos this distinctive feature since 2009, although annually undergo a comprehensive audit which confirms the maintenance and improvement of the quality of these beaches

During the event, chaired by Minister Jose Manuel Soria, with Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego, and the president of ICTE, Miguel viewer, surrendered the flag "Q" for Quality certified beaches 147, corresponding to 10 regions, including 25 in the Region of Murcia.
