The City of San Pedro del Pinatar has welcomed today the delivery of the 10 awards in the competition "Increased security" during this school that has developed between the fifth grade students of the three schools in the municipality.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Region, Tomas Perez, accompanied by Council of Education, Guadalupe Garcia, Youth, Angela Gaona, and New Technologies, Alvaro Tarraga have today presented awards of the "Increased security" 2012-2013 in the municipal council.
The Education, Training and Employment, through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia and the town of San Pedro del Pinatar, have developed a campaign year Increased security in the Region of Murcia, in this municipality, where schools have participated Los Antolinos, Maspalomas and Our Lady of Carmen, taught lectures to a total of 120 students.
The mayor stressed the importance of helping to create preventive lifestyle and healthy, so the City Council promotes and assists with projects like "Security Grows", which broadcasts from the school health and safety knowledge that will be useful to throughout his life.
It also thanked the involvement of the school community, both teachers and pupils, in developing this campaign and drawing competition "We invite you to surely win."
For his part, the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, explained that this campaign that aims to fifth-grade children are aware that their actions every day, at school, at home and in the transfer of home to school, are subject to risks that can be avoided by taking necessary preventive measures.
Tomas Perez noted that this campaign children are introduced to risk prevention, acquiring knowledge that can be applied throughout his life, both in education, and family and, later, in the workplace.
All drawings submitted have shown that children have acquired the skills taught in the lectures.
So, the awarded with the third prize was made by Edwin Gabriel Click (Maspalomas), Christian Ginchev (Our Lady of Carmen), Andy Gabriel Saavedra (Maspalomas) and Luis Fernando Vega (The Antolinos), which are been given a sports equipment.
Also have been awarded drawings Lidia Pérez Cano (Los Antolinos) Marian Andrei Matache (Our Lady of Carmen), and María del Carmen Plantón (Maspalomas), who have received an MP4.
The first three prizes, which have consisted of a digital camera, have gone to Ahmed Saidi (Our Lady of Carmen), Almudena Delgado (Maspalomas) and Mary Brown (Los Antolinos).
